This is a brilliantly written book. Alex Hathaway shows great insight into human relationships and a real talent for character development. The sex scenes are sizzling, and they're so much more erotic because they involve people we've got to know.
Linda’s wild friend Cheryl is involved with a guy whom she has no intention of marrying but who she says is fantastic in bed. And Cheryl is the type that wouldn’t mind sharing.
When Cheryl and Eddie have Linda and Dan over for dinner one night, Cheryl makes sure it ends up in the hot tub. Linda gets a look at Eddie’s organ, and can’t forget it.
Sensing Linda is more dutiful than happy in her marriage, and determined to seduce her off the straight and narrow, Cheryl won’t leave the subject alone. As time goes by she finally gets Linda and Eddie together, opening a door both pleasurable and disturbing for Linda and Dan.
What make this book hot is its being told from Linda’s first-person point of view. Her candor drives the story as she acknowledges to herself and to us the turmoil caused by her sexual growth. She experiences searing pleasure when she finally gives in, heightening her conflict once she realizes her husband no longer satisfies her.
Cheryl lays it on the line with Linda about who she is, her right to sexual satisfaction and the nature of her and Dan’s relationship that Linda must dominate him, and that he wants to be cuckolded. The marital tension heightens the eroticism of Linda’s transgressions.
Alex has provided the reader with a quick hot tale of wanton lust.

things can be. You can't go wrong reading this novella- enjoy!
This writer should definitely continue this series. I loved this first book and wish to see more. the cuckold humiliation elements were very hot
A real disappointment. The novella's opening sequence (contained in the sample) is very strong attractive 30-something housewife Linda and her loving but poorly endowed husband Dan meet Linda's sexually aggressive friend Cheryl and Cheryl's arrogant but well hung boyfriend Eddie for an evening of drinks and hot tubbing. Linda conceives an immediate though reluctant attraction for Eddie which only serves to underline Dan's inadequacies. After Cheryl and Eddie enact a red hot exhibitionist scene for Linda and Dan things seems poised to take off but then...they don't. Linda does eventually consummate her lust with Eddie while Dan observes, but the scenes aren't nearly as intense as they could have been. Eddie then disappears from the book entirely, while Cheryl only sticks around for some tedious exchanges of psychobabble. Linda inexplicably replaces virile Eddie with a couple of dull and unattractive lunkheads whose sole virtue is the size of their equipment. And Dan? Well, one of the hallmarks of this type of erotica is that you're supposed to feel the psychological torment of the husband as he experiences conflicting feelings of humiliation (at being proved inadequate by a more dominant male) and excitement (at seeing his wife brought to new heights of pleasure). But Dan is such an underdeveloped character (no pun intended) that it's impossible to feel anything for him. He's just a cipher, a place holder. Several times during the narrative, Linda thinks something like "I knew Dan was there but I didn't care." Neither will you.
With the exception of that opening hot tub scene, the intimate episodes are poorly described and uninvolving. It crossed my mind more than a few times that maybe one author wrote the first sequence, and someone else finished the rest of the book. Probably not true but that's how great the dichotomy is. In fairness, Hathaway shows some promising sparks of talent here, but this first effort is a real opportunity missed.
